Task

Add tasks at signal positions and manage with the eclipse task list.

Markers and Signals

The marker concept is a known feature of eclipse. impulse allows users to add markers (bookmarks, tasks and annotation) to any signal at any domain position. If you add a bookmark to a signal, you will find that bookmark in the bookmark view of eclipse. If you double-click on the bookmark in that view, eclipse will open the record that contains the bookmark and set the cursor to its position.

Marker are elements of signals. Therefore markers can only be added to plots (in the viewer) that show simple signals (no productions).

If you added a marker in a viewer, you changed the record, not the view. If your current record format does not support markers, then you need to save it in another format.

The following standard markers are available:

Book-mark
Task
Annotation

How to add and remove markers

In the viewer, select a signal and use the context menu or keyboard shortcuts to add, delete and edit markers. To select an existing marker, click on its icon. All signal markers are stored inside its wave file (record).
